Reading research-product information

Understand identity, purity, concentration and product traceability at Chemyo Labo. Learn what a specification says and which details require item-specific evidence.

Three analytical questions

Identity asks which substance was examined. Purity describes a result under a particular analytical method. Concentration relates an amount of material to volume. These terms are related, but they are not interchangeable.

An FTIR identity comparison does not automatically establish a finished liquid’s concentration. An HPLC result also needs an identified material, method and context before it can support a particular claim.

Information must match the supplied stock

Evaluate information for the actual material and, where relevant, the batch being considered. A result for a different supplier, chemical form or lot does not establish the specification of this store’s stock.

Chemyo Labo does not present another supplier’s analytical records as its own. Chemyo Labo is an independent supplier. We are not Chemyo LLC and are not affiliated with chemyo.com.

What the product pages explain

Each product listing identifies its supplied format and quantity. Additional fields may describe carrier composition, appearance, storage and chemical identity when that information is sufficiently clear.

Where a method requires a particular chemical form, establish that form for the actual material before using an identifier or molecular value in a purchasing record. Ask an item-specific question when the listing leaves a required detail unresolved.

Read liquid and powder measurements correctly

For a liquid, compare concentration with the total volume and the listed carrier. A bottle’s size alone does not specify its contents. Powders use a mass rather than a ready-made solution concentration.

Our measurement guide and format comparison explain how to keep those records separate.

Ask about what you need to establish

Include the complete product name and the specific property you need clarified when contacting Chemyo Labo support. General marketing language cannot resolve a missing identity, method or stock-specific detail.

The intended use remains laboratory research. Product information does not establish suitability for human or animal consumption, diagnosis or treatment.
